Pao Bhaji literally means Bread with veggies. This quick snack became identity of Mumbai when it became popular in restaurants and amongst street vendors as a quick lunch time snack. It’s believed to have originated in Mumbai as a quick lunch option for textile mill workers in the 1850s. This blend tastes delicious with lentils, vegetables, or tomato based saucy dishes.
